About Andrea Simeunovic, Ph.D.
I have obtained my bachelor's and master's in molecular biology from the University of Padua in Italy. I received my Ph.D. from the University of Vienna on calcium signaling in response to abiotic stress in Arabidopsis. Since 2016, I am working as a postdoc in Dr. Boisivon's group. I am currently working on transcriptional regulation of auxin biosynthesis during embryo and fruit development in Arabidopsis thaliana. My research interests include the regulation of signaling pathways, new technologies in microscopy, and synthetic biology. For more information, check this page.

About Barbara Wójcikowska, Ph.D.
I finished a Ph.D. at the University of Silesia in Katowice, Poland (2015), and since this time, I’ve been an assistant professor. I am investigating the genetic and epigenetic regulation of somatic embryogenesis. Somatic embryogenesis is a process widely used for plant micropropagation. My researches are focused on understanding the role of auxin in embryogenic transition. I’m especially interested in auxin metabolism, signalization, and genes involved in this processes, i.e. YUC, Aux/IAA, ARF. Additionally, I am studying the role of histone acetylation in the developmental plasticity of differentiated somatic cells. Nowadays, as a stipend of The Bekker NAWA Programme, Poland, I join Helene Robert Boisivon group as a post-doc. During my one-year internship, I study the relationship between the ARF5 transcription factor and the miR390 molecule during somatic embryogenesis. ORCID: 0000-0003-0287-9859
